as my understanding this sentence, we should not lets the environment to control ourselves. We should determine where we are and response to our choice or decided in any position or conditions that we were.
Habit 2 - begin with the end in mind
Covey calls this the habit of personal leadership - leading oneself that is, towards what you consider your aims. By developing the habit of concentrating on relevant activities you will build a platform to avoid distractions and become more productive and successful.
leading ourselves towards to your aims. For me, my aims is to become a successful man. But before that, i have to achieve my English Public Speaking skill first. I have to concentrating on relevant activities about English and it will bring me to become more productive and successful. In the same time, the distractions will be avoided during concentrate on something. I have to begin my activities to achieve the place and do not stop it.
Habit 3 - put first things first
Covey calls this the habit of personal management. This is about organizing and implementing activities in line with the aims established in habit 2. Covey says that habit 2 is the first, or mental creation; habit 3 is the second, or physical creation.
From the habit 2, it is about mental creation which mean thinking what should i aim but in the habit 3 is about physical creation which is ... i think is about the body and the activities relative? which mean interface between our action to a activities.

Covey calls this the habit of interpersonal leadership, necessary because achievements are largely dependent on co-operative efforts with others. He says that win-win is based on the assumption that there is plenty for everyone, and that success follows a co-operative approach more naturally than the confrontation of win-or-lose.
dont know above sentence meaning. Think win-win, i think is about we should think positive way otherwise you will towards failures. We should have teamwork and hard work with others and those are interpersonal leadership.
Habit 5 - seek first to understand and then to be understood
One of the great maxims of the modern age. This is Covey's habit of communication, and it's extremely powerful. Covey helps to explain this in his simple analogy 'diagnose before you prescribe'. Simple and effective, and essential for developing and maintaining positive relationships in all aspects of life.
find the problems and trouble, then try use to correct way to solve the problem. As the covey said, diagnose before you prescribe. If facing a problem, we should try to understand the problem and after that solve the problem which mean to be understood.
Habit 6 - synergize
Covey says this is the habit of creative co-operation - the principle that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which implicitly lays down the challenge to see the good and potential in the other person's contribution.

habit 7 - sharpen the saw
This is the habit of self renewal, says Covey, and it necessarily surrounds all the other habits, enabling and encouraging them to happen and grow. Covey interprets the self into four parts: the spiritual, mental, physical and the social/emotional, which all need feeding and developing.
sharpen the saw which is if self renewal which mean if u feeling tired , better take a snap or sleep and refresh the mind for a better tomorrow or better feeling. If u were tired and kept on studying a subject, it did notwork so much in the brain because the brain is tiring at that time. after take a snap, the brain was refreshed, it will be more easy to memorize something.
